Notice DPRA-BB-2026Official Rules · Rev. 11/2026
Official Rules: The Great Bean Bailout
The DPRA's official contest for the Most Unhinged Bunker Receipt of the recent prepping frenzy (#BeanBailout). Please read these in full. They are short, which is more than can be said for some receipts.
- No purchase necessary. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Frankly, you have probably purchased enough.
- Eligibility. Free to enter. Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited.
- How to enter. Post a photo of your receipt publicly on X or Instagram with the hashtag #BeanBailout before the deadline. Posts must be public so the judges can see them. This website does not accept, collect, upload, or store entries.
- Entry period. Now through November 30, 2026, 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Posts made after the deadline will be admired but not judged.
- Judging. Winners are chosen by judges based on humor and creativity. This is a contest of skill, not a game of chance. No random drawing will occur, no matter how much the beans rattle.
- Prize. Each winner receives a ceremonial Bean Bailout, which consists of a featured spot on this site, a printable Official Bean Bailout Certificate, and bragging rights. There is no cash or cash-equivalent prize, and nothing is actually reimbursed.
- Your photo and your privacy. You must own the photo you post. Before posting, cover or remove personal and payment information, including card numbers, your name, your address, and loyalty or membership numbers. Entries that show card numbers or personal info will not be featured.
- Permission to feature. By posting with #BeanBailout, you allow the DPRA to repost or feature your entry, with credit to your account.
- No platform or retailer involvement. This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, X, Instagram, Meta, or any retailer. Retailer names on receipts belong to their owners.
- Parody notice. The DPRA is a parody and not a real agency. It is not affiliated with any government.
- Winner notification. Winners will be notified by a reply to their entry on the platform where they posted. The DPRA will never ask for bank, card, or personal ID information. Anyone who does is not us.
